In honor of my spiffy new bike computer plus feeling the need for a challenge, took an unusual ride home: Left the office and went east on Fairview, north on Saliman, west on Fifth and up the hill to Richmond. It was 90 degrees with a medium headwind, so I walked in the door totally soaked in sweat.
I thought I was a slow fellow on the pedals but reading the Training submissions on the Forum, I'm not doing too bad for my level of expertise.
Took tomorrow and Tuesday as annual, and Liz took tomorrow off, because we planned work on the storage unit, but we don't need to do that. I made a doctor's appointment for tomorrow and will do the much-delayed-and-procrastinated school work.
Drove the truck tonight for the practice and went to the bank, library, Borders, and Panda Express. Saw some folks jawing at each other in a parking lot and had 911 on the phone, but common sense broke out and they left.
